FAQ I Preguntas Frecuentes - Sustentabilidad
What is the best time to visit Torres del Paine National Park?
Each season has its own charm! Torres del Paine National Park is open all year, but the most popular time to visit is between October and March, coinciding with spring and summer in the southern hemisphere. This period is characterized by sunny days, less rain and up to 16 hours of natural light. Hotel Las Torres only operates between October and April and remains closed during winter.
How many days are recommended for a good stay in Torres del Paine National?
To truly enjoy the wonders of Torres del Paine National Park we recommend a minimum of 3 nights, but ideally 4-5. It is important to remember arrival and departure days include extensive travel and therefore make it difficult to organize formal tours. Once you come for your first visit, you’ll realize how much the National Park has to offer, and you’ll likely already be planning your next visit!
Why should I take the option of an all-inclusive program?
Our all-inclusive service allows you to completely customize your weekly itinerary and discover as many of the natural wonders of Torres del Paine National Park as possible. You can truly disconnect from your routine and simply live in the moment each day, not worrying about paying for each service or each meal. Considering there are no other restaurants, bars or hiking services close by, it is very convenient to have everything booked beforehand.
What does the all-inclusive program include?
Our all-inclusive programs include all guided tours, meals, and drinks you desire. They are designed to give you the freedom to visit multiple areas of Torres del Paine National Park and have the most culturally infused and experience diverse stay possible. This is because the navigation is offered by an external company and therefore we can’t take any responsibility for cancellations due to weather conditions or technical issues.
Are all the tours included in the all-inclusive program?
Yes! All of the tours are included in our all-inclusive programs, although not every tour is available every day. You can mix and match as you wish and fit as many activities as you can in one day. This is definitely the best way to see as much of Torres del Paine as possible, while also getting to learn about Patagonia’s rich culture, enjoying traditional food and drinks, and relaxing in the comforts of Hotel Las Torres. It is important to mention that boat trips on the Full Paine excursions are optional and not included in all-inclusive programs, and the boat trip in the Francés Valley excursion is mandatory and has an additional cost. Tours to the Francés Valley are only available from November to March, due to the working period of the catamaran that crosses Lake Pehoe.
